GMA vs. TFC

At the moment this is the only thing I could think of to talk about. My dad's watching GMA right now, so that's where I got my topic from.

In my opinion, I think TFC is better. They have more shows to select from and the hottest actors =P, like Jay-R Siaboc and Jericho Rosales. By the way, TFC is The Filipino Channel. I'm not too sure what GMA stands for. Anyway, GMA's motto, or slogan, whichever, is "Proud To Be Kapuso". My dad's joke is "Proud To Be Kanguso (sp?)". Funny. One show I'm not too particularly fond of in GMA is the Eat Bulaga. It can be funny at times, but, in my eyes, it just looks like a way to hit the pride of the contestants. Real bad. =\

In TFC, they have real nice shows, like Pangarap Na Bituin. For any TFC-ers out there, I recommend that show! It would make you cry. And they have the nicest songs too! ^^ I also love Wowowee. I love their contests because it's unique and they hardly cause any damage to the pride of the contestants. At least the contestants can leave the building with their ego and pride still in tact. Wowowee also have better dancers than Eat Bulaga.

I'm back! I just had to do something. OK..

Anyway, GMA has the tendency to repeat almost every episode. I definitely prefer TFC since it's basically like Rogers on Demand. You can select what you want to watch, on whatever time, and which episode you want to watch. It's also organized.

Well, that's all I can think of to ramble about. Oh, and GMA, I find, is kind of nosy. =\ Asking actors personal questions.. Poor actors/actresses/singers.

A New Beginning

    Ahh. It's nice to write in LJ again. Of course, this isn't the first time. I've had an account before, but decided to make a new one =P. I didn't get banned or anything. I just wanted to make a new one. This time it's under a different name and I'm not using my real name ^^ Allegra Irène Tranchemontagne is just my penname. Mwuahaha you will never know my real name!! >=]

    You all don't know how long I've waited just to use the internet. It went retarded just as I was about to post my first entry. =\ But now it's all good. You also don't know how long I haven't written in LJ. I guess I just got real busy with school and stuff. My bad =P I'll try to post as often as possible, depending on how nice my internet is to me.

    Hmm ... school's school. A new semester had just begun. And it's been real boring. Being a high academic student, I thought maybe this semester would be more fun seeing as how I got my easier courses. Boy, was I wrong. This semester is becoming a real bore. Normally I would never turn down a chance to go to school each day, but now, every morning I would wake up and become very tempted to go to sleep again. Ugh. Just in case you're wondering, I have University English for homeroom, DYTV for second period, Mixed Religion (there wasn't a University level) for third period, and University Math for fourth period. I'm just glad to have fifth period Lunch so I can go home earlier. Plus, I don't have to worry about bringing a lunch to school anymore ^^. English, though as inspiring as it really is, is also boring. We're constantly writing about nonsense and we're still on the stage of teachers getting to know their students. DYTV is OK. Since I'm the new director for this episode, I'm pretty determined to boss everyone around (LOL jks) and make sure they get their work done. By the way, DYTV is a student-run TV show held every other Friday, unless noted otherwise, for 25 minutes. My school is the only school in Ontario with this kind of program, and I'm very proud to be one of the chosen students to be able to take it. That's right. You have to be hand-picked from approximately 100 students to get in. Only 20 students can be chosen to be in the class. Anyway, Religion is always boring. I'm Catholic and all, but I'm also a scientist. And I like to believe something with proof, than just fact/fiction. You could call me atheist or theist, but either way, I'm still Catholic and a scientist. Math is way too easy. Everyone had told me that the University Math class was very difficult. Actually, it's very easy. I've already gone ahead in studying the next lessons. It's almost as easy as Grade 9 Academic Math! Even my friend agrees with me. Maybe it's just because we're total nerds when it comes to grades =P! I just can't wait for this semester to be over and done with. That way, summer can come and I can finally get my job!!

    Yes, I'm finally going to get a job. After years of trying to convince my parents to letting me get one, I've finally convinced them. Apparently, I could only convince them to let me get the job during the summers only. They want me to focus on school during the school year. Understandable enough. I was planning on getting a job at Bramalea City Center at this purse store beside Jean Planet (I think it's that one..). It's a brand-name store and I love their purses. I bought this real nice purse for my mom for Christmas from there. I told my dad and he said that he could try getting a job for me at his work. Not as appealing as my purse store but I don't mind trying out his workplace. I would have to start in the office though. I already have office experience because I've done community service in a school office before. No biggy. I just hope I earn enough for my necessities in Grade 12. There's Prom, Grad, the school ring, Christmas, and birthdays. I don't think I'm missing anything else but I've got to earn extra. My friends and I are going all-out on Prom and Grad night. And I really want to get that school ring. It's going to be custom-made but expensive as hell. Look at jostens.ca for more details. =P
